Do I need to purchase licenses for non-employees (clients, vendors, freelancers, etc.)?

No! You only need to purchase licenses for employees, people who have your business email.

Do I need to purchase a license for every employee?

No! You only need to purchase licenses for ACTIVE employees, people who use the system to submit an Ask, complete a step, or receives an email/text from the system during the month.

For example, suppose Jack and Jill are both employees. If only Jack was active (completed steps) during the month, you only need 1 license.

Note, to keep your account active, there is a minimum license count of 1.

What about non-regular users, people who only use Pipeline once in a while?

You're only billed when an employee uses Pipeline (see above). So, if you have an employee who only uses it for 2 months, you'll only be billed for 2 months for that employee.

Do you offer a trial?

Since we don't have contracts, you can signup for 1 month for the minimum (1 license) as a trial.

I manage a department, but my flows involve employees who are NOT in my department. Do I need to purchase licenses for them?

No! You only need purchase licenses for employees IN your department. You can manage which employee(s) belong in your department under Account Settings.

We ask that you help us identify managers of other departments, so that we can resolve licensing issues for employees who are not in your department.
