Let external users track progress

When you have a complex, multi-step process, keeping customers up-to-date on their progress is critical. And, customers today expect to be able to track their progress, 24/7, with service providers, just like they can with UPS, FedEx, and other delivery services.

Common use-cases of this include:

  • Tax payers want to see where they are in the tax preparation process
  • New customers want to see where they are in the onboarding process
  • Home-owners want to see where they are in the home renovation process
  • Immigrant applicants want to see where they are in the immigration process

Pipeline makes this easy for you, because Pipeline can generate a unique tracking link for each Ask.

To share this link with your external user, in your flow, just add link using the Content Variable {{ask.tracking_url}} to your step instructions or email body.

When external users receive the Pipeline email, it'll contain the unique tracking link.

When they click on the tracking link, it'll take them to a page where they can track the progress of their Ask, just like they can with a delivery package!
