Step Analytics

Step analytics is a great way to inform conversations with colleagues and ask questions about the process.

• Is this a normal distribution of work?
• Is the distribution a mechanism of the flow structure? Team assignment?
• Are there efficiencies to gain by reworking the flow or instructions where steps are taking a long time?

What is the average ETA for current steps?

The Current Steps tab shows data of all open steps in currently open Asks. These steps are either open right now.

What the Current Steps tab shows:

• Total number of steps each step owner has that still needs to be completed
• Total number of Asks that need a step to be completed (broken down by each step)
• Average time to complete each step and the Asks overall (based on previous data from Completed and Cancelled Asks)

How long does it take for each step to get completed?

The Completed Steps tab displays the estimated time it takes to complete each step. This data is populated pre-populated based on the amount of time it took to complete these steps in Asks created.

What the Completed Steps tab shows:

• Total number of completed steps by each step owner
• The total number of Asks that have steps completed. This is broken down by each step and shows how many Asks had this step completed 
• ETA to complete steps on Asks

Which steps are still pending completion?

The Pending Steps tab shows data on all steps that need to be completed in open Asks, that are not open yet.

What the Pending Steps tab shows:

• Total number of steps each step owner still needs to complete in current Asks
• How many Asks each step still needs to be completed in
