Third-Party Users

There are two ways that third-party users can login to start using Pipeline!

1. Admin Imports the Users

Admins can add users to Pipeline from their View Account Settings page and they will not receive an email notification unless the admin decides to. 

How to Add Users as an Admin:

• In your account click the avatar in the top-right corner, then click View Account Settings
• On the page that opens click on your company name
• Click the Users tab, then select Import Users
• Enter the first name, last name, and email with commas separating each and no spaces
  • Example format: first,last,email

How the User Signs Up:

• By adding users this way, no invitation email is sent out
• The admin will need to email the third-party user to let them know to sign up and send a link to the logon page 
  • Link example: shrutefarms.pipelineapp.io/logon
• Once on the logon page, click No account? Sign-up!

2. Add New Users to a Team

If you are inviting a third-party user to complete steps in your process, you can simply add them as a member of a team! Follow the instructions on the Creating Teams article to quickly learn how to add members to a team.

Once the user is added to a team they will receive an invitation email from Pipeline where they can click the Log On button to get started.

Third-party users will be required to enter:

• First Name
• Last Name
• Email Address (will be pre-populated)
• Role 

SSO

These users will easily be able to use SSO to login and they should pick one of the SSO options (Google or Microsoft) listed at the top. No stress with keeping up with a new password! Once the user has set up SSO they can continue back to the logon screen and select the same option to enter Pipeline.

Email + Password Option

After entering profile information, if they want to create a password to login to Pipeline they have that option.

• After clicking Sign Up, click the Create Password link
• Textboxes will show to re-enter their email and create a password
• After creating the password they can go back to the logon screen, click the Email+Password option to login.

The password needs to be at least 8 letters and 1 number before it is accepted.
