Asks
An Ask is created when someone kicks-off your flow. People create asks based on your flows when they need something done.
Often times, these kickoff points take place in email exchanges, meetings or calls that require folks to keep track of the information, go back for clarification and finally begin the process of completing the work. Instead of playing monkey in the middle, which can quickly turn into "chaos monkey," we've tied the ask to the process so work will naturally flow.
Submit an ask
Ready to submit an ask? In Pipeline, there are 4 ways to kick-off a flow to submit an Ask:
- Submit a form - The easiest way to submit the form in Step0. Learn how to customize it.
- Send an email - Users can also submit asks by sending emails to a specific email address
- Schedule a recurrence - Users can create recurrences to automatically submit Asks based on a schedule. Learn how users can create recurrences.
- Trigger from a 3rd-party app - 3rd party apps can also submit asks via an integration. Learn how to set up integrations.
Submit a form (Step 0)
Just hover over the Asks icon in the left navigation and click Submit Ask in the pop-out menu to get started.
