Pipeline automatically tracks and logs all changes and updates in the the Activity Feed, so you don't have to.
Track key user activities
Pipeline automatically track all activities for the Ask and tracks the following:
- Who performed the activity
- What the activity was
- When the activity took place
- Where the activity took place
Activities are listed in the feed with the most recent at the top.
Search and filter
Filter by step
You can filter the activity feed by clicking on the icon on the step. This will filter the activity feed to only show activities for that specific step.
Keyword search
You can search for specific activities by using the keyword search at the top of the activity feed:
Just type in a keyword and click the search icon to find Activities with that keyword.
Common Use-Cases
Below are common use-cases for using the activity feed:
See if a user opened an email
Pipeline tracks when emails are opened, so that you can see if your customers are reading your emails.
See when a field value was changed and who changed it
Pipeline tracks when a form field was changed and who changed it.
See when a file was uploaded or replaced
Pipeline tracks when a file was uploaded. Pipeline also tracks when a file was downloaded, by who, and the IP address of where the download occurred. Just click on the IP address to see the geolocation of the IP address. Finally, if someone deletes a file, Pipeline tracks that as well.
See when a step is completed and who completed it
Pipeline tracks when a step was completed and who completed it. And if a step was re-opened, Pipeline tracks that as well.
See when a user click-acknowledged your terms
- When used with a Form, you can track when someone click-acknowledged your terms.
- Note, Pipeline also tracks the IP address of the user for this activity to comply legal requirements. Just click on the IP address to see the geolocation of the IP address.
