May 11, 2023
Want Pipeline notifications to be sent from your company domain? Just purchase this whitelabel addon and grant Pipeline permissions to send emails from your domain.
Want the automation but not the hassle of setup and maintenance?
With Managed integrations, we'll do all the heavy-lifting, so that you can focus on more important things!
Prerequisites
- Pipeline: Custom Email Domain addon ($49/month)
Configure your DNS
You need to create 2 TXT
DNS records to grant Pipeline permissions to send emails using your domain.
DNS Record Type | Name | Value |
---|---|---|
TXT |
@ |
v=spf1 include:mailgun.org ~all |
TXT |
[name]._domainkey |
[value] |
Note, the 2nd DNS record values are unique to your domain, and we will provide you the values after you purchase the whitelabel addon.
Here's how to add these records in GoDaddy.
Go to My Products → Domains → [Your Domain] → Manage DNS → Add
After adding the 2 records, you should see something like this:
Here are detailed instructions for common DNS providers:
- Amazon Route 53
- Digital Ocean
- GoDaddy
- Microsoft 365
- NameCheap
- Network Solutions
- Rackspace Email & Apps
- Rackspace Cloud DNS
Configure an email
Next, you need to create an email account that Pipeline can use to send emails. We recommend either alert@yourcompany.com
or pipeline@yourcompany.com
.
To set this up, here are instructions for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365:
- Refer to Google Workspace documentation for how to add a new email account
- Refer to Microsoft 365 documentation for how to add a new email account
Note, the default Email Intelligence and Integrations will be disabled, since Pipeline will be sending out emails using your domain. If you want to use Email Intelligence and Integrations, you need to set up an integration to filter replies in your email inbox or purchase a Managed Integration to have Pipeline filter it.
