Prerequisites
- No setup required if Pipeline notifications are sent from
alert@pipelineapp.io - If Pipeline alerts are sent from a customer domain (ex: pipeline@company.com), then a Pipeline: Managed Integration is required for this integration
Email open tracking
Just because you sent someone an email doesn't mean they opened it and read it. That's why Pipeline tracks when someone opens an email so you don't have to wonder.

Out-of-office (OOO) auto-capture
Often, people will set up out-of-office auto-responders with important contact information when they go on vacation, such as:
- When they will return
- Who is their backup
This information is critical if the person OOO is also the current step owner, and everyone is waiting for them to take action.
So when Pipeline receives an OOO auto-responder email, the system will automatically add the email body to all Asks where the current step owner is OOO.
That way, other step owners can decide how to proceed.
Note, to turn off the OOO auto-capture, simply turn off the auto-responder in your email client.
Undeliverable notifications
When a person leaves a company, this causes a major problem for all Open Asks where they are a step owner or submitter.
With Email Intelligence, Pipeline can intelligently parse email undeliverable notifications, automatically deactivate the contact, and add a note to all affected Asks. Step owners and flow owners then need to decide how to proceed.
