Prerequisites
You will need the following before you can integrate Pipeline with DocuSign through Zapier:
- Zapier account (sign up for free!)
- DocuSign Business Pro account
Setup and Configuration
Trigger
Select the Trigger Event as Envelope Sent or Completed
The, select the Status Completed
Action(s)
Select the Action Event as Create Ask
Be sure to select the appropriate Pipeline Flow and enter the contact email as the creator of the Ask.
Note, the Flow must be LIVE.
FAQs and Troubleshooting
Use a Developer Account for testing
Note, every envelope you start counts towards your envelope allowance in DocuSign, even if you're testing, see DocuSign documentation.
If you're performing integration tests, sign up for a DocuSign Developer Account, so your tests don't count towards your envelope limit.

When you subscribe to a DocuSign eSignature plan, the envelope allowance depends on your plan. Once an envelope is sent, it will count towards the envelope allowance included in your plan, whether or not the envelope is signed or completed.
